Reference Services

The library maintains a full time reference librarian to answer legal reference questions for the public and attorneys. Please feel free to contact us regarding any reference questions you might have. The reference librarian can direct you to sources of law and forms, instruct in the use of legal materials, train in the use of electronic databases, locate reading materials and provide referrals to proper agencies when appropriate. However, the librarian cannot give legal advice, interpret the law or draft legal forms. The library also offers a number of other reference services, including access to online legal databases, interlibrary loan, and AskNow, a statewide online legal reference service.
