is an independent association established by the County Employees
Retirement Law of 1937 and is subject to the laws governing fiduciaries.

Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA) as of April 1, 2016:
2016 Retiree COLA will be 1.0% effective with the retirement benefit paid on April 30 2016. Those members with retirement dates on or before April 1st, 1983 will receive a 3.0% through the use of the Accumulated Carry-Over ("COLA Bank”). On March 16, 2016, the Board of Retirement adopted a new set of economic and non-economic assumptions. The estimated cost impacts are on average 5.44% of payroll for employers and 0.30% of payroll for employees. Please click here for more information
