Final Results!


A BIG thank you to everyone who participated in the “Walking Works!” Challenge, especially the department liaisons.  This event was a huge success and we hope that you have been inspired and will remain motivated to keep walking for the benefit of your health!

 

Final "Walking Works!" Challenge Results

Hundreds of County employees reported thousands of steps! Congratulations goes to the following departments for leading the way! 

  • HIGHEST PERCENTAGE OF PARTICIPATION:

 

The Department of Child Support Services had the highest percentage of participation at 51.6%!  Way to go!  Retirement Association was a very close second at 51.5%.

 

Representing the Department of Child Support Services is the department's walking liaison, Mayra Alcala (pictured at left).

 

 

 

  • HIGHEST AVERAGE STEPS:

         The Fresno County Employees Retirement Association (FCERA) led the way with the highest average steps taken at 11,134!  Great job!

Fresno County vs. Tulare County Competition Results     

  • The County of Fresno won the percentage of participation with 16% compared to 12 % for the County of Tulare!

  • The County of Tulare had the highest average number of steps at 8,248 compared to 7,298 for the County of Fresno.

Prizes

A random drawing was held to award prizes to employees who participated in the "Walking Works!" Challenge.
