Hundreds of County employees have reported thousands of steps!!

  • Retirement Association has the highest percentage of participation at 75%! Wow!

  • County Counsel had the highest average steps at 10,850! Great work!

  • City of Tulare (42.8%) leads in the percentage of participation!

It was another busy day of walking on Tuesday! The Board of Supervisors adopted a proclamation declaring the week of May 20th-24th as "Walking Works Challenge Week!" Paul Nerland, Personnel Services Manager and Hollis Magill, Personnel Analyst spoke on the benefits of walking and explained the program. Thank you to the Board of Supervisors for supporting this effort!

Kudos to Monica Morales, DCSS for taking her role as Walking Works Department Liaison to a new level! We understand over 111 of these shirts were sold to DCSS employees. If you see a sea of blue walking fast, you'll know it's part of DCSS's walking team.
