January 15, 2016 - The Fresno County Law Library, Superior Court of California County of Fresno, and Central California Legal Services launch a new and improved Free Guardianship Workshop

The Fresno County Law Library is proud to announce a new-and-improved Free Guardianship Workshop that is open to the public. This new workshop will explain the court process, review all of the forms, connect you with additional information, and offer free one-on-one assistance with completing all of the forms required for a guardianship.

This workshop will take place on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, from 8:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Soley Conference Room at the Court Self-Help Center located on the first floor of the B.F. Sisk Courthouse at 1130 “O” Street, Fresno, CA 93724.

Space is limited to the first 15 petitioners who arrive before 8:30 a.m. No late arrivals will be admitted and no children are allowed. If you need child care, the courthouse offers a free, safe, and secure waiting room on the first floor.

October 12, 2015 - Fresno County Law Library join the CEB CCCLL Partner Program

The Fresno County Law Library is proud to announce it has joined a program where a portion of the sale price of books and other materials from Continuing Education of The Bar will go towards our state’s county law libraries.

October 5, 2011-WestlawNext Now Available at the Library

The next generation of legal searching, WestlawNext, is now available at the Fresno County Law Library. The new interface features a simplified search function that makes it easier than ever to find legal references in the Westlaw system. WestlawNext searching also features a new algorithm that searches across all types of resources, including cases, statutes and secondary materials, to find the best results for your search. September 7, 2011-Fresno Public Law Library Launches New Website

Welcome to our new website! We now feature online access to many forms commonly used in certain court cases; increased information about the library and our policies; and more links to legal resources in the area, including access to the Nolo Legal Database, a database of self-help books directed at the general public.
